Entering its eleventh summer in July 2026, the Grade 8 Honour Band Program has helped hundreds of students successfully transition from Grade 8 to Grade 9 with new musical skills, performance experience, and confidence.
Grade 8 Honour Band Overview
Students learn a band instrument, rehearse in a high鈥憇chool ensemble, and perform on the Walkerville stage while earning a Grade 9 arts credit (AMU1OW) accepted at all high schools.

Launching in September 2026, the Grade 8 Honour Dance Program welcomes students interested in developing their technique, creativity, and performance skills in a supportive high鈥憇chool arts environment.
